Universal Music Greater China (UMGC) and TF Entertainment, the team behind China's pop idols TFBOYS and Teens in Times, have struck an agreement that includes global digital distribution for TF Entertainment’s growing roster. TF plans to leverage UMG’s marketing network as well as its global distribution capabilities.
“This alliance underscores our dedication to elevating Chinese pop music to global acclaim, both culturally and commercially,” UMGC Chairman/CEO Timothy Xu said. “It also provides a unique opportunity to advance our superfan strategy, offering fans around the world access to distinctive cultural experiences.”
TF CEO Chunhui Chen added that he looks forward to “the fruitful results” their “strategic alliance will yield.”
