UNREAL ACTIVITY FOR HOZIER

Rubyworks/Columbia's Hozier posted impressive streaming activity on day 1 of his new EP, Unheard. "Too Sweet" opened at #2 on Spotify U.S. and #10 worldwide, totaling 4.8m streams.

The EP encompasses a quartet of unreleased songs from his Unreal, Unearth album sessions. All four opened in the Top 40 on Spotify in the U.S.

For the Irish singer-songwriter—who first broke through in 2013—to generate enormous streams for new music a decade later (while selling out arenas across the globe) makes Hozier a unicorn in the current industry landscape. This artist-development story is testament to his craft and a particularly devoted fan base, among other factors.
