Projections based on Friday's sales and streams find Kacey Musgraves' sixth album, Deeper Well (Interscope/MCA Nashville), heading for an opening salvo in the 75-85k range. Deeper Well's big debut will exceed that of the artist's previous release, Star-Crossed, which debuted with 77k in September 2021. Musgraves is repped by Sandbox Entertainment's Jason Owen.
Meanwhile, our experts have just set down the abacus and predicted that Ariana Grande, who's managed by Good World’s Brandon Creed, will repeat at #1 with eternal sunshine (Republic), itself projecting 80-90k after opening last week with over 200k.
