WALLEN BRINGING NASHVILLE TO HYDE PARK ON JULY 4TH

To the exclusion of most of his country music peers, Morgan Wallen has built a sizable fan base outside the U.S. and particularly in the U.K., where he sold out the 20k-capacity O2 in London in December in what was described as one of the isles' biggest country shows to date.

Prepare to break out the "Whiskey Glasses" and fireworks of questionable legality, because Wallen has something even bigger in store for U.K. fans this summer when he headlines AEG's British Summer Time in London's Hyde Park on—what else?—the 4th of July. Tickets go on sale 3/13.

"Last fall was my first time in the U.K. and man, I loved it," said Wallen, who's booked by The Neal Agency's Austin Neal. "I saw so much while I was there, and the people were incredible." As for the Hyde Park milestone, he enthused, "To play where legendary artists like Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones have played is a huge honor for me and my band, and we can't wait to be back."

BST rarely featured American country acts until Kacey Musgraves performed in 2022, but this year, Wallen is joined on the lineup by fellow country superstar Shania Twain, who will headline on 7/7. In a further nod to his U.K. audience, Wallen surprised them last week with Abbey Road Sessions, seven songs taped at the fabled London studio last December.

Back in the States, the artist is headed for another week at #1 with One Thing at a Time (Big Loud/Mercury/Republic), which is certified quintuple platinum. The North American portion of Wallen's 2024 One Night at a Time Tour kicks off with 4/4-5 shows at Indianapolis' 70k-capacity Lucas Oil Stadium.
