GRAMMYS REVIVE HALL OF FAME EVENTS

The Grammy Museum and Recording Academy are reinstating Grammy Hall of Fame events on its 50th anniversary, following a two-year hiatus.

The event will be celebrated with a gala and concert on 5/21 at the NOVO Theater in Los Angeles. Ken Ehrlich is producing the event with Chantel Sausedo and Ron Basile.

The gala will be the first of what will become an annual event, and includes a red carpet and VIP reception on the Ray Charles Terrace at the Grammy Museum followed by the concert. Tickets and performers will be announced at a later date.

The Recording Academy's National Trustees established the Hall of Fame in 1973 to honor recordings of lasting qualitative or historical significance that are at least 25 years old. This year, the hall will induct 10 new recordings: four albums and six singles.
