As the massive UMG reorganization comes into clearer focus, word of the new Republic Records structure has leaked. And the future is female. Let’s take a look at the newly anointed team at House Lipman:
Label veteran, A&R trailblazer and force of nature Wendy Goldstein becomes president and chief creative officer. She most recently served as co-president at the label.
EVP Danielle Price Sanders, whose background is in biz & legal, will, we’re told, be a critical player in the label's creative-operations strategy and new leadership lineup.
Marleny Reyes has been tapped as GM. The Republic veteran has spearheaded marketing campaigns for The Weeknd, Post Malone and Metro Boomin, among others.
Goldstein, Price Sanders, Reyes, Gryn
Diamond, Perez, Harkins
Donna Gryn is upped to chief marketing officer after serving for more than a decade at the company. She will oversee marketing efforts for the entire roster. Gryn has, in turn, appointed two chief lieutenants, Xiarra-Diamond Nimrod and Stephanie Perez, to lead the hip-hop/R&B and pop/rock teams, respectively.
Meg Harkins has been promoted to EVP of IMPERIAL Music and Casablanca Records. She has guided both pop marketing for Republic and K-pop marketing for IMPERIAL over the last three years, helping the latter establish its significant berth in indie distribution.
All of these exceptionally accomplished executives are excited about their new roles and eager to avoid any contact with us.
