ZERBAL CONFIRMATION

Brazilian producer Zerb, whose single "Mwaki," featuring Kenyan vocalist Sofiya Nzau, topped Spotify's Viral chart earlier this year, has signed with Warner Chappell Music. "Mwaki," which reached #2 on Shazam's worldwide chart, was remixed by the likes of Tiësto and Major Lazer. Even while posing for this characteristically jolly photo op with the WCM team, the gifted creator was overcome with emotion, never having seen his name spelled out in balloons before. Observed feeling glad we're not there to deflate the mood are (l-r) WCM's Ryan Press, manager Gabriel Tofoli, Zerb, WCM's Gabz Landman and CEO/co-Chairman Guy Moot.

"We are so excited and honored to be working with Zerb," goes a quote from Landman. "He's won over a global audience thanks to his gift for crafting immediate, infectious, creative and emotive songs. I’m grateful to Zerb and his team for allowing us to join his journey and look forward to collaborating with them on new music. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go buy more balloons."
