FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

Yeat’s long-awaited 2093 (Field Trip/Capitol) is the top new arrival at Apple Music this Flipover Friday, while Blackberry Smoke holds the top slot at iTunes.

Yeat’s 2093 opens sits at #1 on the streaming side and #20 at iTunes. The only other new arrival in the Top 30 on both charts is Kim Petras’ Valentine’s Day release Slut Pop Miami (Amigo/Republic) at #15 on the iTunes chart and #26 at Apple Music.

Blackberry Smoke’s Be Right Here (3 Legged/Thirty Tigers) tops the iTunes chart in the early hours, ahead of Jennifer Lopez’s first album in nearly a decade, This Is Me…Now (Nuyorican/BMG), at #2. Upchurch’s Thursday release Blue Genes II (Luce-N-Up) is #3.

IDLES’ fifth set TANGK (Partisan) drives in at #5 with Drake Milligan’s Jukebox Songs – EP (Stoney Creek) slotting in at #9. Arrival in theaters this weekend of the of the Bob Marley biopic has rejuvenated interest in the reggae star’s catalog, pushing the compilation Legend (UMe/Island) to #12.

Over on iTunes songs, Ariana Grande’s new version of “yes, and?” (Republic) with Mariah Carey opens at #4 amid a hive of Beyoncé singles. Dua Lipa’s “Training Season” (Warner) follows at #6.
