In the wake of his Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, USHER has added 10 dates to his upcoming Past Present Future Tour.
Produced by Live Nation, the now-51-date tour will start 8/16 in Atlanta and make stops in Seattle, Las Vegas and Vancouver, among other locales, before concluding at Houston's Toyota Center on 11/27.
"I was not exaggerating when I shared with the world that my performance would be a celebration of the past 30 years of my career," reads a quote from USHER. "I will never forget the energy from the cast and crew, the fans in the stadium and the guest performers and the adrenaline from this monumental milestone in my career.”
USHER's Past Present Future Tour will showcase material from his latest album, COMING HOME (mega/gamma.), released last Friday (2/9). The general on-sale begins this Friday (2/16); for details, go here. We'll probably be relegated to the nosebleed section—again.
After USHER finished his superb Super Bowl halftime show, some fans need to hear more, pushing 11 songs into the Top 30 at iTunes and Apple Music.
“Yeah!” led the pack, rising to #2 at Apple Music and #3 at iTunes, followed by his track with Alicia Keys, “My Boo” (#9 iTunes, #23 Apple Music). “U Got It Bad” also made both charts: #6 iTunes, #27 Apple Music.
Apple Music also saw “Hoodrat” rise to #24, with “Love in This Club” right behind it at #26; the iTunes chart included “Burn” at #12, “Caught Up” at #15 and “You Make Me Wanna” at #17.
On the album side, USHER's new COMING HOME (mega/gamma.) sits at #1 at iTunes and #2 at Apple Music early Monday, while the expanded edition of 2004’s Confessions (LaFace) is up to #5 in sales and #7 in streaming.
