Taylor Swift has unveiled the track list for her forthcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department (Republic, 4/19). The 17-song project (including bonus cut "The Manuscript") boasts features by Post Malone on the song "Fortnight" and Florence + the Machine on "Florida!!!" Peruse the details below while we continue to nurse our Grammys hangover.
Taylor Swift used the Grammy stage to announce that her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, will drop 4/19 on Republic. The star broke the news while accepting the Best Pop Vocal Album trophy for Midnights, one of six awards she's up for tonight.
To say the Swifties are in complete overdrive would be like saying it lightly sprinkled today in Los Angeles.
Swift posted the album cover on Instagram with some handwritten lyrics to an unspecified new song, signing them as "The Chairman" of the Tortured Poets Department: "And so I enter into evidence/ My tarnished coat of arms/ My muses, acquired like bruises/ My talismans and charms/ The tick, tick, tick of love bombs/ My veins of pitch black ink/ All's fair in love and poetry."
No details have yet emerged regarding collaborators, but pre-order links are offering some editions with a bonus track titled "The Manuscript."
Ever red-hot, Swift has three of the Top 10 albums on the HITS Top 50—her "Taylor's Version" re-recordings of 1989 and Lover at #5 and 8 and Midnights at #9. Meanwhile, her record-shattering Eras Tour resumes 2/7 in Tokyo. And then there's the Super Bowl...
