WMG, POLYGON ANNOUNCE WEB3 ACCELERATOR BENEFICIARIES

WMG and Polygon Labs, a development team supporting the Polygon network (a blockchain platform), have selected MITH and Muus Collective as beneficiaries of their Web3 Music Accelerator program. The two projects will help build the future of the music x Web3 ecosystem on the Polygon network.

MITH is a fan-engagement platform co-founded by entertainment-industry veterans Michelle Sanchez, Natalie Bruss, Lillian Marsh, Matty Ayers and Peter Micelli. Its technology stack spans commerce, streams, threads, rewards and incentive perks based on membership tiers, purchases, POAPs and community engagement. MITH’s platform will offer artists the ability to unlock AI-driven insight and analytics based on artist-owned first-party audience data, providing a 360° view of each fan. In December 2023 MITH unveiled its pilot, Private Garden, with Range's Jack Harlow.

Muus Collective, founded by Sarah Fuchs and Amber Bezahler and built in partnership with digital retailer REVOLVE, is creating fashion-centric experiences. The playable platform, which offers digital collectibles, also rewards communities for engagement. Its first game is set to launch in Q2.

“MITH and Muus Collective are the perfect platforms to launch with WMG and Polygon Labs’ Web3 Music Accelerator because of their fan-first approaches to building communities across music and fashion,” said WMG VP, New Business & Ventures Jillian Rothman. “Providing meaningful ways for artists and fans to connect and fans to express their fandom are at the core of WMG's mission. We’re looking forward to seeing these companies grow and exploring mutually beneficial innovation.”

In addition to receiving the imprimatur of two entities driving the future of music and blockchain, enterprises selected for WMG and Polygon Labs' Web3 Music Accelerator will be eligible for a range of music and blockchain support, including mentorship and check-ins, strategic advice, networking, and marketing and promotion.
