POLLSTAR LIVE! ADDS BALLMER, AMENT

L.A. Clippers Chairman Steve Ballmer and Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament have been added to the speakers participating in Pollstar Live!, which will go down 2/6-8 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

Ballmer and Ament’s panel, “Music, Basketball & the Intuit Dome,” will cover Ament’s experience as a member of one of the biggest global touring bands in the world, and Ballmer’s vision for and construction of the new home of the Clippers, the Intuit Dome. Afterward, the two will shoot a game of H-O-R-S-E with the loser having to wear a Benoit Benjamin jersey for a day.

The annual Pollstar Live! conference, which includes Production Live! and the Pollstar Awards, will cover topics such as “Golden Era 3.0: How Long will This Boom Last (And What Can We Do to Sustain)?,” “Booking/Artist Development: Names To Watch,” “Where to Go and When: Developing the Global Touring Strategy” and “How Will AI Change Live for Booking, Marketing, Operations & Risk Management.”
