David Barbis has joined Big Loud Rock, which lives under the Big Loud Records umbrella, as head of promotion. He'll report to President Greg Thompson.
Barbis was previously VP of promotion at C3 Management, where he played a crucial role in the development of Modest Mouse, The Head and the Heart, Chevelle and The Revivalists, among others. With a career spanning more than two decades, he's also spent time at Polygram/Island, DreamWorks and Capitol.
"Dave is a true music man and one of the most outstanding promotion executives I've ever known," Thompson said. "His passion for his artists is unparalleled."
Barbis said, "Big Loud’s extremely successful, diverse operation is something I'm so proud to be part of and I can’t wait to get started."
