BMAC ANNOUNCES GRAMMY WEEK EVENTS

The Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) has rolled out its Grammy week schedule, beginning 1/31 with the Music Maker Dinner at Deliah in West Hollywood. The event, in association with ASCAP, will feature special guests Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis who will unveil the winner of the 2023 Music Maker Grant.

The following day (2/1), BMAC, in partnership with BOMESI, will host the Fireside Chat and Brunch in Celebration of Black Media at the Live Nation offices in Beverly Hills. The brunch will be followed by the BMAC, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, UTA and iHeartMedia Economic Empowerment Summit at the UTA Theater & Courtyard in Beverly Hills on Friday (2/2).

The latter will include a preview of the It’s Basic documentary, which is directed by Marc Levin and executive produced by Michael Tubbs. BMAC CEO/President WillieProphetStiggers will also lead a panel discussion on economic justice featuring Tubbs, Creatives Rebuild NY's Maura Cuffie-Peterson, RRHOF/iHeartMedia's John Sykes and rapper Gunna, who plans to share an announcement about a new initiative he's working on with BMAC.

Additional events are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. We'll be busy not getting invited.
