JOAQUINA SIGNS WITH GTS FOR MANAGEMENT

Latin Grammy Best New Artist Joaquina will stay with House López—the Universal Music Latino breakout has signed a worldwide management deal with UMG's GTS.

Joaquina’s career will be overseen by GTS Managing Director Paula Kaminsky (pictured on right with the artist) and co-manager Camila Canabal. In partnering with GTS, Joaquina will tread the path UMLE stars like Feid, KAROL G and Sebastián Yatra have taken to worldwide recognition.

Said Kaminsky: “We are very happy and grateful that Joaquina, someone who holistically embodies the feelings of her generation, has placed her trust in GTS to further develop her career and guide her in achieving her dreams of taking her art to the whole world.”

In September the 19-year-old, Miami-based Venezuelan became the youngest artist ever to be nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Singer-Songwriter Album, for her debut EP, Los Mejores Años.

Joaquina is a graduate of Art House Academy & Abbey Road Institute's music program, presided over by Grammy-winning producer Julio Reyes Copello.
