NEON16 CREATIVES DECONSTRUCT DATA AT MIAMI ART WEEK

At NTERTAIN's "The Art of Being Latin," the two-day event celebrating Latin creators during Miami Art Week, creative director Elliott Muscat (pictured at left) and NEON16 co-founders Tainy (middle) and Lex Borrero (right) had a discussion about the audio and visual cohesion of Tainy's Grammy-nominated DATA.

Borrero's weekend highlighted influential Latin figures in music, television, film, fashion and design, bringing together Blue Beetle director Ángel Manuel Soto, Bad Bunny stylist Storm Pablo, Feid creative director Manuela Villada and a capacity crowd to panels presented at Builders Collective in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood.

“The Art of Being Latin is a concept that was two years in the making,” Borrero said. “We wanted to do something that we felt no one else was doing and bring a fresh perspective to Art Week. We wanted to create something that had value and substance to it. This was intentionally designed to be more than just a party; people came here and left with knowledge and hopefully a sense of pride in their culture and heritage as well as an inspiration to go and create.”

The event was produced by NTERTAIN's three divisions: NEON16, marketing arm AM16 and NTERTAIN Studios.

Asking for a friend: Where can one order Lex's fit but in purple and gold? See more photos from the weekend below.
