NTERTAIN and NEON16 will delve into "The Art of Being Latin" with two days of curated programming this weekend as part of Miami Art Week. On 12/9-10, NTERTAIN will host panels, music performances, film premieres and art shows at The Builder's Collective in Wynwood, with CÎROC and Buchanan's Whisky cocktails flowing freely.
On the opening day, NTERTAIN/NEON16 CEO Lex Borrero will moderate a panel dissecting NEON16 co-founder Tainy's critically acclaimed, Grammy-nominated album DATA, which features Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, Wisin & Yandel and Ozuna, across its star-packed track list.
12/9 will also include a panel diving into DC's Blue Beetle, featuring a conversation with director Ángel Manuel Soto.
Borrero kicks off Day 1 joining renowned stylist Storm Pablo for "Crafting The Celebrity Image," a discussion about image, identity and how an artist's public persona can impact broader culture.
The programming on 12/10 includes a conversation focusing on the pioneering style of Colombian breakout Feid, with his sister, renowned stylist Manuela Villada, which will be moderated by Cristina Arcay, the VP of NTERTAIN's marketing agency AM16. Borrero will also chat with visual artist Ahol Sniffs Glue about his three-year project Geographies of Trash and the community it has helped foster.
NEON16's RMAND will conclude Day 1 with a performance at the after-party.
"At NTERTAIN, we are always looking to amplify authentic and captivating Latino narratives and 'The Art of Being Latin' is a first-ever during Miami Art Week to elevate the stories of talented Latinos while inspiring others to chase their dreams and be proud of their heritage," Borrero says. "Innovation is part of our DNA as a company and brand, and we're thrilled to curate an experience that is distinctively Latino, marking these cultural touchpoints and activations across art, entertainment, music and Latino culture."
"The Art of Being Latin" is open to the public from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. on both days.
