10K PROMOTES TWO, WELCOMES NEW CFO

Elliot Grainge’s 10K Projects has promoted Blake Brown-Grakal to general counsel and Samuel Cohen to general manager while welcoming Max Gore as CFO. All three will work out of 10K’s Los Angeles office. Pictured (l-r) are Cohen, Brown-Grakal and Gore, who have probably already blocked HITS' phone number.

“As we look forward to a new phase of growth at 10K, reinforcing our core executive team is crucial,” goes a quote from Grainge (also pictured—he's the smoldering one in glasses). “Max brings with him well over a decade of finance experience, the majority within the Warner system. Blake’s facility in communicating with artists and their teams on business matters has been a game changer for us over these past three years. And Sam has been at 10K since the very beginning, helping to guide every chapter of our development. This executive team helps position us for the future as we continue to break new ground at 10K.”

Brown-Grakal has been with the company since 2020 as associate director of business and legal affairs. He’s also a founding partner in the digital content company Dream No More Studios and a former drum tech and production manager for Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band.

Cohen started as an intern at 10K in 2017 and has worked in A&R, marketing and business-development roles since then. In his newly created GM position, he will oversee operations, human resources and biz dev.

Gore comes to 10K from Warner Music Group, with which 10K inked a joint venture in September. Most recently, he served as VP of finance and operations at WMX Media and Creative Content.

10K’s roster includes Trippie Redd, iann dior, Internet Money, 6ix9ine, Surfaces, itch, YTB Fatt, SXMPRA and COIN. Ice Spice, whom Grainge and 10K signed and developed via Capitol, remains at the Tower.
