Republic's Taylor Swift has announced that her record-setting concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, will be available to rent on demand beginning 12/13. The VOD version will include three bonus songs: "Wildest Dreams," "The Archer" and Todd Hensley's personal favorite, "Long Live." A streaming partner has yet to be announced.
Expect another Swift catalog boost once fans can watch the film from the comfort of their own living rooms.
Before that happens—and as early as this weekend—The Eras Tour will top the Michael Jackson pic This Is It as the highest-grossing concert film globally of all time. Taylor is sitting a smidgen under a quarter-billion in ticket sales; she needs to get to $261m to take the B.O. crown.
