Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes held onto the top slot on the domestic box office chart, raking in $28.8m over the three-day weekend.

The film’s North American total is $98.3; it’s nearing $200m globally.

The Hunger Games prequel bests two high-profile new arrivals, Disney’s Wish, which earned $19.5m over the weekend, and Ridley Scott’s Napoleon, which earned $21m. Globally, Napoleon made $78.8m.
