TOP 50 UPDATE: TIGHT RACE FOR #1

As of Friday afternoon (11/24), the three-horse race among Dolly Parton, Drake and Taylor Swift for #1 on the HITS Top 50 is too close to call. With several key sales reports delayed due to the Thanksgiving holiday, we're going to hold our chart until Saturday morning (11/25).

Parton's Rockstar (Butterfly/Big Machine) could become the legendary singer-songwriter's first #1 album debut outside the country charts. Could Dolly's Thanksgiving Day halftime performance in Dallas be the clincher?

Stay tuned. In the meantime, enjoy a few more turkey sliders and eggnog.
