FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

Dolly Parton rocks the iTunes chart this Flipover Friday, while three new arrivals race up the Top 25 at both iTunes and Apple Music.

Opening at #1 on the sales side is Parton’s first album since she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Rockstar (Butterfly/BMLG), a 30-track set packed with rock stars like Paul McCartney, Elton John, Debbie Harry and Joan Jett.

Drake’s For All the Dogs: Scary Hours Edition (OVO/Republic), adds six songs to the early October original, landing at #1 at Apple Music, #6 at iTunes. All six tracks are in the Top 25 at iTunes, led by “Evil Ways” f/J. Cole. “Red Button” is the first to go Top 20 at Apple Music.

André 3000’s collection of instrumentals, New Blue Sun (Epic), opens at #2 at iTunes and #21 at Apple Music. 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne’s collab, Welcome to Collegrove (Gamebread/Def Jam), is #3 on the sales side and #13 on the streaming chart.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd’s Dirt on My Diamonds, Vol. 1 (Mascot/Provogue) polishes the #7 slot, and the Toby Keith collection 100% Songwriter (Mercury Nashville/UMe) inks #9.

Just outside the Top 10 are the New Broadway Cast album of Merrily We Roll Along (Masterworks Broadway), Disney’s soundtrack to Wish and Jason Kelce’s A Philly Special Christmas.

Kelce, the Philadelphia Eagles center, and his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis, aka Taylor’s boyfriend, have the top-selling single, “Fairytale of Philadelphia,” a twist on The Pogues’ holiday standard—complete with the use of the word “jabroni.” Also new at iTunes songs is Warren Zeiders’ “Sin So Sweet” (717/Warner), at #5.
