Vydia is expanding into physical distribution. To kick off the new venture, the platform has teamed up with gamma. and Death Row Records on a limited-edition, 30th anniversary vinyl version of Snoop Dogg's seminal solo debut, Doggystyle (1993). Exclusive color variants will be available at Amazon, Walmart and independent record stores.

As noted in the RIAA's 2022 year-end report, "Revenues from physical music formats continued to grow after their remarkable resurgence in 2021," with "revenues from vinyl records growing 17% to $1.2b—the sixteenth consecutive year of growth—and accounting for 71% of physical format revenues." CD sales accounted for $483m in the U.S. last year.

To spearhead the new division, Vydia has hired Alexander Brody, former director of account management for The Orchard.

Vydia has also partnered with independent distributor AMPED to support operations across North America as well as [Integral] to assist with international distribution. To celebrate, we plan on consuming copious amounts of gin and juice in Snoop Dogg's honor.
