88rising APPOINTS FIRST CRO

Former Pinterest executive Mike Chuthakieo has been named 88rising's first chief revenue officer. He will report directly to CEO/founder Sean Miyashiro.

In this newly created role, Chuthakieo will oversee brand partnership strategy across the globe. He will also lead the development of new commercial partnerships that accelerate 88rising’s evolution as a next-gen media and music company.

Chuthakieo joins 88rising from Pinterest, where he launched the entertainment and restaurant industry sales teams. Chuthakieo previously held various leadership positions at Fortune 500 companies across media, music streaming and social media, including Pandora, FOX and Myspace.

88rising's rapid global growth includes the Head In The Clouds Music and Arts Festival, which celebrated its fifth year in L.A. in 2023, along with expansions in New York, China, Manila and Jakarta. The company is home to stars like Joji, NIKI and Jackson Wang, among others.

88rising brand partnerships remain at the cutting edge of innovation while uplifting AAPI voices. Their collaborations include an AI partnership with Microsoft, along with campaigns with Toyota and Bose.
