The Neil Lasher Music Fund will hold its third annual luncheon on 11/14 in NYC. Established in memory of Lasher, who died in 2020, the fund provides financial assistance for drug- and alcohol-addiction treatment for music-industry personnel and promotes the integration of music into recovery.
Founders Board members Jody Gerson, Monte Lipman, Evan Lamberg, Daniel Glass and Paul Williams, among others, are expected to attend. The Replacements’ Tommy Stinson will perform at the event.
The Lasher fund is now integrated with Caron Treatment Centers, in which Lasher was deeply involved, and has provided more than 20 scholarship grants and helped more than 35 people receive treatment in the past several years.
