FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

It’s a flashback Flipover Friday as Jimmy Buffett and The Beatles top the two iTunes charts—with new music.

The 32nd and final album by Buffett, Equal Strain on All Parts (Mailboat/Sun Records), is #1 at iTunes albums, while The Beatles’ “Here and Now” (Apple/Capitol) sits atop iTunes songs. It’s also in the Top 75 at Apple Music songs.

Right behind them is Jung Kook, who's making an impressive run on multiple charts. His GOLDEN (BIGHIT) is #2 at iTunes, in the Top 25 at Apple Music and nine of its tracks occupy slots two through 10 at iTunes songs. “Standing Next to You” is the early leader.

Two country albums fall in next at iTunes: Jason Aldean’s Highway Desperado (Macon Music/BBR) comes to its senses at #3 and Cody Johnson’s Leather (Warner Nashville) whips up the #4 slot. Spiritbox’s The Fear of Fear EP (Pale Chord/Rise) is #5.

New Kids on the Block’s 30-track The Block Revisited (Interscope) parks at #7. Jeezy has the only other title to make it into the Top 40 at iTunes and Apple Music; his I Might Forgive… But I Don’t Forget (CTE New World) is #8 in sales and #35 on the streaming side.

Dirty Honey's Can’t Find the Brakes (Dirt) stops at #9. The StrutsPretty Vicious (BMLG) has the #10 slot.

Among new arrivals at iTunes songs is Megan Thee Stallion’s “Cobra” (Hot Girl Productions) at #13.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s Decided 2 (NBA/Motown) is on the 11/10 release schedule, but its three pre-release tracks have been streamed enough to put the album at #6 at Apple Music.
