Last week Sony Music Latin hosted a celebration of música Mexicana and the expansion of its West Coast team, with artists, execs and label partners from Miami and Mexico making the trek to downtown Los Angeles.
The swanky event saw performances by Conexión Divina, Joss Favela, Lupita Infante and Virlán García, as well as the introduction of Luis Ángel "El Flaco," who recently inked a deal with Sony Mexico.
Sony Music U.S. Latin President Alex Gallardo and Sony Music Mexico President Roberto López presented multiple gold and platinum plaques.
Also in attendance were folks from SML's Miami office, who had their first encounter with a sweaty HITS chismoso.
