Travis Scott will achieve a personal best for concert grosses (and merch) with his UTOPIA Tour Presents Circus Maximus.
Live Nation’s box-office projections have Scott raking in $80m from 500k tickets sold, Pollstar reported. His last tour, 2018-2019's Astroworld: Wish You Were Here, grossed more than $60m from 55 shows.
Touring in support of his fourth studio album, UTOPIA (Cactus Jack/Epic), the current arena tour started 10/11 with 38 shows on the itinerary, wrapping 12/29. He has two-night stays in six cities and one stadium performance: 11/5 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. He is the first hip-hop artist to headline and sell-out SoFi.
A second North American leg and international legs are likely for 2024, Pollstar reported.
Merch sales, meanwhile, set records at American Airlines Center in Dallas ($1m+) and at Denver’s Ball Arena ($1.06m).
