The Rolling Stones have released the second song from Hackney Diamonds, and it’s a long one: The seven-minute-plus “Sweet Sounds of Heaven.”
The slow burner features a vocal performance by Lady Gaga with Stevie Wonder on Fender Rhodes, Moog and piano. The track was recorded at Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles, Metropolis Studios in London and Sanctuary Studios in Nassau, Bahamas.
Jagger started writing the song at his home in London and as the leaves were rustling through the trees around outside, he started playing a chord pattern of C, F and B Flat on his piano.
