ERAS TOUR FILM GOES WORLDWIDE

Taylor Swift’s concert film is going global. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour will open in more than 100 countries on 10/13, the same day it hits U.S. theaters.

AMC Theatres will handle distribution, the first time it has ever been a global distributor of a film, and is looking for other such arrangements.

The expectation is that Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour will open on more than 7,500 screens worldwide. Projections are that it will play on 4,000 screens in North America and generate more than $100m at the domestic box office its opening weekend.
