KAROL G, SHAKIRA, EDGAR BARRERA LEAD LATIN GRAMMY NOMS

KAROL G, Shakira and Camilo lead the 2023 Latin Grammy nominations, earning seven nods each.

Shakira, who didn't release an album during the eligibility window, is nominated three times in Song of the Year for collaborations with Bizarrap and KAROL G and her solo release "Acróstico" (Sony Latin).

Bichota/Interscope's KAROL G is present in Album, Song and Record of the Year for MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO, "TQG" f/Shakira and "Mientras Me Curo del Cora," respectively. She also earned nods in Best Urban Fusion/Performance, Best Urban Song, Best Reggaeton Performance and Best Urban Music Album.

Argentine hitmaker Bizarrap was nominated six times, including for Producer of the Year and Record and Song of the Year for "Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53."

Camilo, who received seven nominations, was again acknowledged in Album of the Year, as well as Song of the Year.

Mexican American songwriter-producer Edgar Barrera was nominated 13 times, earning nods for his work with Maluma & Marc Anthony, Camilo and Bad Bunny & Grupo Frontera while also contending for both Songwriter and Producer of the Year.

Warner Spain's Pablo Albarón has five noms, among them Album, Song and Record of the Year. Feid, Maria Becerra, Bad Bunny and Natalia Lafourcade also have five nominations.

Columbia's ROSALÍA, who was the big winner at last year's Latin Grammys, is competing in Record of the Year for "Despechá."

Surprisingly, Peso Pluma was not nominated in any category—not even Best New Artist. Eslabon Armado's "Ella Baila Sola" f/Peso Pluma earned two songwriter nods, recognizing Pedro Tovar.
