Rod Wave’s fifth studio album shoots straight to the top of the Apple Music chart this Flipover Friday, with three of its songs streaming their way to elite chart positions. The Top 8 at iTunes albums are all new arrivals.
Wave’s Nostalgia (Alamo) sits at #1 on the streaming side. Three songs soar into the Top 5: “Boyz Don’t Cry” at #1, “Come See Me” at #3 and “Checkmate” at #5.
At iTunes, Teddy Swims’ debut full-length, I’ve Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1) (SWIMS/Warner), opens at #1. Dan + Shay’s Bigger Houses (Warner Nashville) is right behind him at #2.
Nas’ Magic 3 (Mass Appeal) is the only album to debut in the Top 15 of both charts, claiming #3 at iTunes and #12 at Apple Music. NEEDTOBREATHE has the #4 slot with Caves (Drive All Night), and Thirty Seconds to Mars’ It’s the End of the World but It’s a Beautiful Day (Concord) follows at #5.
Brothers Osborne’s self-titled fourth studio album (EMI Nashville) opens at #6, Demi Lovato’s Revamped (DLG/Island) rocks the #7 slot, Slipknot lead singer Corey Taylor snags #8 with CMF2 (CMFT/BMG) and Cory Asbury’s Pioneer (BEC) rolls to #10.
The top new arrival at iTunes songs is TOMORROW X TOGETHER & Anitta’s “Back for More” (BIGHIT), at #4.
Moving into the Top 20 at Apple Music is Sleepy Hallow’s Boy Meets World (Winners Circle/RCA).
