WML AND MAU Y RICKY GO CLUBBING

Multiplatinum duo Mau y Ricky have launched the independent label Why Club Records in partnership with Warner Music Latina.

On 10/5 Mau y Ricky will release Why Club's first single, "Vas a Destrozarme," the initial taste of the Miami duo's upcoming Hotel Caracas, which features collaborations with Grammy-winning producer Malay, hitmaking artist and songwriter JP Saxe and Latin Grammy winner JonTheProducer.

The duo will continue to be managed by Armando Lozano, a trusted member of Mau y Ricky’s team since the beginning of their career. Longtime day-to day-manager Neus Borrell will serve as managing director of Why Club Records.

“We're very happy to start this new stage as owners of our music with a group of incredible people we admire,” Mau y Ricky said in a joint statement. “We trust Alejandro Duque and Roberto Andrade [Dirak] as the ideal partners. We're working on the most important album of our career.”
