Now it can be told: Brandon Creed has signed Demi Lovato to his Good World Management.
Lovato’s exit from Scooter Braun’s roster—along with Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and other acts—as the HYBE America CEO transitions out of the management business has been a key topic in the rumor mill for some time.
The news comes just ahead of Lovato’s brand-new Island set, REVAMPED (due 9/15), which will feature rocked-up renditions of her hits. The star will introduce the world to the project on the MTV VMAs stage on 9/12—she has two noms for her song “Swine.”
We note that Lovato will still be repped by CAA, with Rob Cohen at Carroll Guido Groffman Cohen Bar Karalian continuing to handle legal.
Creed is certainly having a moment. The Barbie soundtrack—produced by Mark Ronson, Kevin Weaver and Brandon Davis and on which Creed is credited as a co-producer—is dominating DSPs and features a big track by Good World artist Charli XCX. Meanwhile, Troye Sivan, another act in the manager’s stable, is going great guns with single “Rush” ahead of his October album drop. Good World is also now co-managing Normani with Lydia Asrat.
In a related story, Brandon wishes we would stop calling him.
