Kemosabe/RCA's Doja Cat has announced a release date for her third studio album; Scarlet arrives on 9/22. The album launch follows a U.S. #1 for second Scarlet single "Paint the Town Red," which also topped Spotify's U.S. chart and is approaching the Top 10 at Pop radio.
Fans will get another taste of Scarlet this week when "Demons" drops on Friday (9/1). Doja has been teasing its video accompaniment, a horror-themed outing that features Christina Ricci.
Scarlet is the follow-up to Doja Cat's star-making 2021 sophomore set, Planet Her, which has amassed more than 3m in activity and delivered a handful of Pop and Rhythm radio #1s.
Doja's arena tour, booked by CAA and promoted by Live Nation, kicks off on Halloween in San Francisco before hitting Crypto.com Arena on 11/2 and wrapping 12/13 in Chicago. Fellow rap sensations Ice Spice and Doechii will open on select dates.
