Mexican pop phenom RBD reunited in Texas last weekend to launch its long-awaited #SoyRebelde Tour, produced by Live Nation and T6H Entertainment. The CAA-repped group triumphed at stadiums in El Paso and Houston, fans having waited nearly 15 years for this moment.
RBD performed at El Paso's Sun Bowl Stadium on 8/25 to a crowd of 40k+. On 8/27, another 40k+ die-hard Gen Z and millennial fans packed Huston's Minute Maid Park to see Dulce María, Anahí, Maite, Christian and Christopher play the anthems of their youth.
The quintet has shows scheduled in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and other major U.S. markets as well as multiple nights at stadiums in Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. The #SoyRebelde Tour, which has sold 2m+ tickets globally, will proceed in the Americas through the end of the year.
RBD released a new song, "Cerquita de Ti" (Universal Music Latino), to celebrate the launch of the tour. Listen here.
