Cactus Jack/Epic’s Travis Scott has now notched four consecutive weeks at #1 on the HITS Top 50 with UTOPIA, which posts 160k in its latest frame, with another 90k in pure sales. Scott’s four-week reign marks the longest #1 rap run since Lil Baby’s My Turn topped the chart for four straight weeks in 2020. UTOPIA has now surpassed 1m in total activity.
Big Loud/Mercury/Republic’s Morgan Wallen maintains the #2 spot with One Thing at a Time, followed by j-hope’s Jack in the Box (HYBE/Geffen), which surges to #3 thanks to the release of physical product.
The top debut goes to Columbia’s Hozier, whose Unreal Unearth scores 59k, landing at #4. Diemon/gamma.’s Russ, meanwhile, earns a Top 10 bow for SANTIAGO.
Two K-pop acts, JYP/Imperial/Republic’s JIHYO (TWICE) and SM/Virgin’s NCT Dream, score Top 20 entries, as does QC/Motown’s Quavo, with Rocket Power. With Snow Angel (#46) Interscope’s Reneé Rapp delivers the year’s top debut by a female pop act.
Streeting this week are new titles by Warner’s Zach Bryan, Def Jam’s Fridayy, Ladylike/Sony Nashville’s Morgan Wade, Big Machine’s Tim McGraw, Sony Latin’s Maluma, Lovett/RCA’s Victoria Monét and the 10th anniversary deluxe reissue of Ariana Grande’s Yours Truly (Republic).
