HIP-HOP'S TEX-MEX BREAKOUT

Trending rapper That Mexican OT (Outta Texas) is capturing eyes and ears with his viral cut "Johnny Dang" f/Paul Wall & DRODi, which received a boost following a "From the Ranch" performance that saw That Mexican rap his verse holding a live chicken, wearing a cowboy hat and standing in front of a guy wandering around on a horse.

"Johnny Dang" is currently in the Apple Music Top 50 and the Spotify U.S. Top 100.

That Mexican OT's debut album, Lonestar Luchador, was released 7/28 via GoodTalk/Manifest/Good Money Global/Geffen. It continues to grow week over week and at the moment is just outside the HITS Top 50.

A Houston native, TMOT played a Spotify Most Necessary Live concert in his hometown 8/2.
