Doja Cat has returned to form with her latest single, "Paint the Town Red" (Kemosabe/RCA), which hit multiple new streaming peaks this week and has entered the Top 20 at Pop radio (having closed out the add board).
While the versatile pop star continues to make headlines for provocative fan interactions on the socials, her second single appears to be trending like the run of hits from her 2021 album, Planet Her. "Paint the Town Red" has become the highest-charting rap song by a solo female artist on Spotify global, climbing to #11 on 8/16 and hitting a new peak of #7 on the U.S. chart. "Town" is likewise approaching the Top 10 on Apple Music and resides at #10 on Shazam.
