Cactus Jack/Epic’s Travis Scott logs a second consecutive week at #1 on the HITS Top 50 with UTOPIA, which became the year’s first hip-hop chart-topper last week. The 19-track set moves 148k units in week two, taking Scott over the 600k mark in total activity.
Big Loud/Mercury/Republic’s Morgan Wallen returns to #2 with the year’s top album, One Thing at a Time, which posts 90k+ in its 23rd week.
House Lipman has no fewer than seven titles in the Top 10, including four from Taylor Swift, who just wrapped the first U.S. leg of her boffo Eras Tour. Swift’s incredible year continues as Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) (#4), Midnights (#5) and Lover (#7) rise in chart position and activity on the heels of the Republic superstar’s latest announcement: 1989 (Taylor’s Version) will arrive 10/27, exactly nine years after the original.
Warner’s Zach Bryan, meanwhile, maintains a strong presence in the Top 20 with his 2022 breakthrough, American Heartbreak. The next-gen folk hero has circled 8/25 for the drop of the eponymous follow-up to his 34-track opus.
Streeting this week are new releases by Bichota/Interscope’s Karol G, 1400/10K Projects’ Trippie Redd, Black River’s Kelsea Ballerini and Reprise’s Neil Young.
Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have to get back to counting indictments. Peep the full chart here.
