(l-r) Tomas Rodriguez, Belinda, Alejandro Duque

Belinda, Mexico's "Princess of Latin Pop," has signed an exclusive recording agreement with Alejandro Duque's Warner Music Latina. Warner Music Mexico MD Tomas Rodriguez was also on hand for the signing in Miami.

A household name in Mexico, Belinda was a child actress, appearing in many telenovelas and films, including projects for Disney. She ventured into pop music in the 2000s, recording four albums from 2003 to 2013.

"We are honored to welcome Belinda, one of the most important artists in Latin pop music, to our WML family," said WML President Duque. "Her undeniable talent, versatility and dedication to her art make her a unique and exceptional artist. We are excited to accompany her on this new stage of her career, confident that together, we will reach new horizons and make history in her return to music."
