Interscope Geffen A&M has dished out promotions to four marketing executives: Ramon Alvarez-Smikle, Laura Carter, Chris Mortimer and Daniel Sena.
“Each of these executives has built teams that create consistent opportunities for our artists to build and nurture their fan bases,” said IGA Vice Chairman Steve Berman. “These promotions reflect how important their work is as we continue to build upon our platform to move culture through music.”
Alvarez-Smikle, who's been named EVP/head of digital marketing, will continue to oversee digital marketing for Interscope's hip-hop and R&B roster.
Carter, the label's new EVP/head of urban marketing, will oversee marketing for Interscope’s hip-hop and R&B artists.
Mortimer, also now EVP/head of digital marketing, will look after the digital marketing campaigns for Interscope’s pop and rock roster.
Sena, who's been elevated to EVP/head of strategic marketing, will continue to work on brand partnerships for Interscope’s roster.
Our own titles, of course, remain meaningless. Seen agreeing with that sentiment are (clockwise from top left) Alvarez-Smikle, Carter, Mortimer and Sena.
