ZAYN'S MERCURY LANDING

ZAYN is relocating to Mercury Records. New music is already in the pipeline—and while the title of the forthcoming release hasn’t been made public, it can be pre-saved here; a teaser can be found here.

The erstwhile One Directioner’s last solo album, Nobody Is Listening (RCA), dropped in 2021. His 2016 solo debut, Mind of Mine, bowed at #1 in both the U.S. and U.K. That set's lead single, "PILLOWTALK," was certified quintuple platinum. Last year ZAYN was invited by the Jimi Hendrix Estate to perform a new version of "Angel" to commemorate what would've been the late rock legend's 80th birthday.

“As soon as ZAYN and I met, I knew we had to work together,” reads a quote from Mercury co-boss Tyler Arnold. “I was blown away by the new music but just as impressed by his vision, drive and spirit. We’re honored that Zayn and his team have joined us at Mercury Records. We’ve got an incredible opportunity to tell the next chapter of his story together. If only we didn’t have to tell it to HITS.”
