DOUBLE PLAY

Dead & Company notched a pair of wins at Fenway Park over the weekend with two shows at the home of the Red Sox, one of them breaking the stadium’s single-night attendance record for music. The band pulled in 37,389 tie-dyed concertgoers, edging the previous record of 37,380 held by local boys Aerosmith.

A Deadhead graphic decorated the Green Monster as Bob Weir and John Mayer combined for 17 hits, 12 more than the Sox mustered in a 4-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox in the Windy City.
