Mexican-music sensation Peso Pluma and the incarcerated Young Thug are the two new arrivals landing in the Top 10 at iTunes and Apple Music this Flipover Friday.
Young Thug’s Business Is Business (300/Atlantic) is the top new arrival at Apple Music, starting at #2, while the album is #4 at iTunes.
The debut album from Peso Pluma, Genesis (Double P/Prajin Music), opens at #10 on the sales side and is #3 in streaming. Four of the album’s tracks are in the Apple Music Top 50: “Bye,” “LUNA,” “Lady Gaga” and "VVS.”
Back at iTunes, Kelly Clarkson’s chemistry (Atlantic) has the right formula to take the top slot, followed by Jason Mraz’s Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride (Interrabang/BMG) at #2. Ghostluvme’s Bohunk (High & Mighty) is #5.
Kim Petras’ debut album, Feed the Beast (Amigo/Republic), nabs the #6 slot ahead of Portugal. The Man’s Chris Black Changed My Life (Atlantic) at #8 and Jake Owen’s Loose Cannon (Big Loud) at #9.
Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice with Aqua have the top two slots at iTunes songs with the explicit and clean versions of “Barbie World” (10K Projects/Capitol). A second track from Atlantic’s Barbie The Album, Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night,” is #11.
