During the second Pittsburgh stop of her Eras Tour, Republic’s Taylor Swift broke an attendance record at Acrisure Stadium.
According to the venue’s Twitter feed, 73,117 Swifties were in the crowd. The previous record-holder was Garth Brooks, whose 2019 concert brought out 72,887, um, Brooksies.
Tay saluted the audience in an Instagram post, saying, “Pittsburgh, thank you for making me feel sooooo at home in my home state. I mean… You broke the all-time attendance record and we got to be the first tour to play your stadium twice.”
The Saturday-night crowd was also treated to two surprise songs during the three-hour-plus set, “Seven” from 2020’s folklore—for which Swift was joined by The National’s Aaron Dessner—and “The Story of Us” from Speak Now.
