FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

The eighth album by Queens of the Stone Age and Gunna’s first full set since his release from jail top the iTunes and Apple Music charts this Flipover Friday.

Queens of the Stone Age’s In Times New Roman… (Matador) debuts in the top slot on the sales side, while Gunna’s a Gift & a Cure (Young Stoner Life/300) breaks in at #1 on the streaming chart. Apple Music has only one other new arrival in the Top 10: Asake’s Work of Art (YBNL Nation/Empire), at #5.

Back at iTunes, Killer Mike’s MICHAEL (VLNS/Loma Vista) nabs the #2 slot ahead of K-pop octet ATEEZ, at #3 with The World EP.2: Outlaw (KQ), and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s PetroDragonic Apocalypse… (KGLW), snaking in at #5.

ATTA (Von Dur Ltd/BMG), the first album in 10 years from Iceland’s Sigur Rós, floats to #6. The Teskey BrothersThe Winding Way (Glassnote) steps up to #8. The Outlaw Side of Me (BMLG), the fifth studio album by Chris Janson, turns in at #9 and John Mellencamp’s Orpheus Descending (Republic) rises to #10.
