Two of our favorite people, Capitol Christian Music Group's Phil Thornton and "Mother of Black Music Month"/Influence Entertainment head Dyana Williams, pause to pose during the White House's Juneteenth Concert. Much like the D.C. gathering that heralded the first official BMM celebration during President Jimmy Carter's tenure (at which Williams was present), the event underscored the administration's cultural acumen. In an unrelated story, a rival political party's "Polka Marathon for Freedom" was canceled because there were too many storage boxes in the bathroom.
