During a Memorial Day party for an estimated 90 guests at his estate in Pound Ridge, N.Y., Clive Davis debuted a 12-minute trailer for a new documentary with the working title The Greatest Party Ever. Page Six had a spy on the scene.
The film is apparently an overview of Clive’s pre-Grammy gala, which he’s been hosting since 1973. The item names Jesse Collins as producer and Rob Ford as director.
The spry legend, who turned 91 on 4/4, brought up Adrienne Warren, who played Tina Turner on Broadway, to perform a piano-accompanied rendition of Tina’s 1989 hit “The Best.” Clive also had Art Garfunkel sing an a cappella rendition of his favorite song, Paul Simon’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
