Morgan Wallen retains the #1 spot on this week’s HITS Top 50 with One Thing at a Time (Big Loud/Mercury/Republic), which logs its 11th consecutive week atop the chart with 135k. It becomes the only album this century to hold #1 in its first 11 weeks. It will likely extend that streak to 12 next week. Wallen’s sophomore giant, Dangerous: The Double Album, sits at #6 with 49k.
House Lipman continues its impressive run, holding the top three albums this week; Taylor Swift’s Midnights rises to #2, followed by Jonas Brothers’ The Album, which opens as the top debut at #3 with 53k. Republic has an astounding 10 albums in the Top 25.
Other top entries include NBA/Motown’s YoungBoy Never Broke Again, whose surprise mixtape, Richest Opp, opens at #4, and Warner Nashville breakthrough Bailey Zimmerman, who bows at #7 with his debut full-length, Religiously.
Daft Punk re-enters the chart with the 10th anniversary edition of its landmark Random Access Memories; the 2014 Grammy winner for Album of the Year (featuring the monster smash “Get Lucky”) soars to #8.
Streeting this week are new titles by Capitol’s Lewis Capaldi and LVRN/Interscope’s Summer Walker.
